EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers

DO I NEED TO BE AT A CERTAIN ATHLETIC LEVEL TO TRAIN WITH PHOENIXFIT?

Nope! I have worked with a wide variety of skill levels! Where ever you are in your fitness or recreational career, we can help you!

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE AT YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPY PRACTICE?

No, we do not take insurance. We are a cash-based practice.

WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

There are several reasons for this, but the primary reason is that accepting insurance requires a lot of administrative work, which takes up a significant amount of time and resources. This can increase the cost of care, limit the amount of time spent with a therapist, and restrict the range of treatment options available to patients.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, credit cards, HSA, HRA, FSA, and personal checks. We can also provide an invoice that can be used to submit your own insurance claims for out-of-network benefits.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT FOR YOUR SERVICES?

Yes, we require payment at the time of service. This policy helps us minimize administrative costs and allows us to focus solely on patient care.

ARE YOUR SERVICES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TRADITIONAL PT PRACTICES?

Our services may appear more expensive since we do not accept insurance. However, this is not always the case. By eliminating administrative work associated with filing insurance claims, we are able to focus on delivering high-quality care at a reasonable price.

CAN I STILL USE MY INSURANCE TO PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES?

It depends on your insurance plan and carrier. Many insurance plans have out-of-network benefits that can be used to pay for services at a cash-based PT practice. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier to see if they offer this option.

WHERE CAN I SEND A LEGAL COMPLAINT?

Complaints regarding non-compliance with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Act can be directed to Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, 333 Guadalupe Suite 2-510, Austin, Texas 78701, www.ptot.texas.gov, 800-821-3205 (toll free, for complaints only) or 512-305-6900
